3. Information Collected by Our Payment Processor

When you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes:

• Payment information (credit card details, billing address)
• Contact information (email address, name)
• Transaction details
• Tax-related information based on your location

This information is collected and managed by Paddle in accordance with their Privacy Policy, available at paddle.com/legal/privacy. We do not have direct access to your payment card information.

Private Transcriber AI uses machine learning models that run entirely on your Mac. When you transcribe audio:

• The audio file is read directly from your device
• Processing occurs using your device's CPU/GPU
• The resulting transcription is saved locally to your device
• No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party services

4.2 Machine Learning Models

The Application uses open-source machine learning models that are downloaded and stored on your device. These models process your audio entirely offline without any internet connection required for transcription.

All transcriptions and settings are stored locally on your Mac in the Application's data directory. This data remains under your control and is subject to your device's security measures.

We recommend that you:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your transcription data to any third parties because we never have access to it in the first place.

The only information that may be shared is payment and billing information collected by Paddle, which is governed by their privacy practices.
